After years of designing and product testing, we have created a superior design with exceptional features that meet everyday demands and respond very well to the harsh Australian climate. A major advantage to a self-assembly lick feeder, as opposed to a welded lick feeder, is no rust. Over time all paint on welds will wear off or ‘thin out.’ This will eventually lead to welds rusting out or holes beginning to appear in your lick feeder. This will never happen with our self-assembly Sunset Ridge lick feeders as there are no welds at all on the lick feeders.

Our Products

Another feature of our Sunset Ridge lick feeders is very low grain wastage. This is thanks to the brilliantly designed feeding tray and feeds restriction angle. The angle has 3 settings, allowing you to have the perfect grain flow to your stock.

If some grain does spill over the angle, the feeding tray allows the spilled grain to be caught below the grain flow area. Grain is still accessible by stock, allowing them to consume from the feeding tray rather than above the restrictor angle. So any grain lost at the restrictor angle has a second chance once in the feed tray.

We are able to pack multiple lick feeders in an area that one assembled lick feeder would take up. This drastically reduces your freight costs by up to 50%

Grain wastage from this feeder is nil, this being unique in my experience.

"Within my prime lamb operation, I have trialed a Sunset Ridge Feeder over the last 18 months. My feeding array includes 4 other sheep feeder brands. The Sunset Ridge unit is a robust, sturdy design with good grain capacity and excellent weather protection over the feeding trays. I find the large lid very useful when filling with a chaser bin. Grain wastage from this feeder is nil, this being unique in my experience"
